The 5th EPSO CONFERENCE will be held from April 18-22, 2010 in Finland. The EPSO Board and the local organising committee invites you to the 5th EPSO conference that will be held above the Arctic Circle, near Muonio in Lapland.The programme is now available online. As usual during EPSO Conferences, plant scientists and policy-makers from Europe and around the world will present and discuss cutting-edge science, plant science policy and societal issues.

As part of the activities planned for the year, Bioversity International (Rome, Italy), the IPK (Gatersleben, Germany) and the University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy) will organize the 2nd International Symposium on “Genomics of Plant Genetic Resources” (GPGR2) to be held in Bologna, from April 24 to 27, 2010.

The XVII Congress of the Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) will be held in Valencia, Spain on 4-9 July 2010.The scientific programme of the FESPB 2010 will cover most aspects of modern plant biology. The aim is to offer a conference with the highest scientific quality in which novelty on multidisciplinary approaches including systems biology, genetics, molecular cell biology and biochemistry, and ecophysiology will be presented.

The ENSS: Plant Epigenetics 2010 will offer an exiting overview of current concepts and methods in plant epigenetic research. Renowned experts will present current concepts and results in eleven plenary lectures. In addition, participants will get the opportunity for in-depth discussion and hands-on experience in relevant methods in four lab-work afternoons. Application and abstract submission deadline is 15th April 2010.
